Rancho Cucamonga Fire Police Department Training Center

A multi-building public safety training campus incorporating administration, training, utility infrastructure, resilient structural systems, specialized interiors.

Project

Rancho Cucamonga Fire Police Department Training Center

This comprehensive project involved the design and construction of a new, multi-functional training campus for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, serving both the Fire and Police Departments. The development included the construction of a modern Administration Building, a fully equipped Fire Training Facility, and a dedicated Data and Storage Building to support the city’s operational needs. Site preparation began with demolition of existing structures, followed by precision grading and the installation of a complete network of underground utilities, including water, sewer, storm drain, and electrical systems.

Mechanical scopes included the installation of new plumbing lines, HVAC systems, and energy-efficient equipment to meet current building codes and sustainability standards. The building structures were constructed using a durable combination of structural steel framing and concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls, designed for both functionality and long-term resilience.

Exterior site improvements were extensive, including the installation of custom-designed seat walls, interlocking concrete sidewalk pavers, ornamental and security fencing, and a comprehensive landscaping and irrigation system tailored for low water usage. Parking areas were constructed with adequate lighting and signage to accommodate daily use and emergency vehicle access. Additional civil improvements included coordination with the city for traffic signal upgrades and off-site accessibility enhancements.

Interior construction work featured the development of high-performance spaces, including a secure data center with climate control and backup power systems, as well as a training room equipped with a smart screen, modular partitions, acoustic treatments, and integrated AV systems for flexible instructional use. High-quality finishes were applied throughout, creating an efficient, professional environment suitable for critical public safety training and administrative operations.
