Project
The Great Park Orange County
Horizons construction installed a mesh fence around a baseball field to enhance safety, security, and functionality. The process typically begins with surveying and marking the perimeter to ensure proper alignment with field dimensions and local regulations. Crews then excavate post holes at regular intervals and set up durable steel or aluminum posts in concrete footings to provide a stable framework.
Once the posts are secured, workers attach high-strength mesh fencing often made of galvanized steel or vinyl-coated chain link to create a continuous barrier. This type of fencing is designed to withstand weather exposure, resist corrosion, and safely contain balls within the field of play while protecting spectators and surrounding areas.
Delivery Challenges
Additional features may include reinforced backstops behind home plate, dugout enclosures, and gated access points for players and maintenance staff. The finished installation not only improves safety and organization but also gives the baseball field a clean, professional appearance suitable for recreational or competitive use.
